Bergquist Group (Jared A. Bergquist, LLC), including our Bridge Practice Sales and Bridge Commercial Real Estate service brands (“we,” “us,” or “our”), explains in this Privacy Policy how we collect, use, and disclose personal information through bergquistgroup.com, our online forms, and related brokerage communications and services.
This policy covers people who contact us, join our buyer database, request listings or valuations, schedule meetings, or work with us on dental practice and commercial real estate matters. Separate confidentiality agreements, engagement agreements, and legal requirements may provide additional protections for particular information.
Information you provide. We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, professional credentials, company or practice name, and the contents of your inquiries. We may also collect buying or leasing criteria, preferred locations, budget, ownership and financing information, and your communication preferences.
Practice and transaction information. If you request a valuation or engage our services, you or your authorized representatives may provide financial statements, tax returns, production and collections reports, leases, contracts, asset details, and other information relevant to the assignment. We request this information as needed for the services you seek.
Website information. Our website and service providers may automatically collect IP addresses, browser and device information, referring pages, pages visited, interaction data, and approximate location derived from an IP address. Cookies and similar technologies may collect some of this information, as described below.
Other sources. We may receive information from your authorized advisors, transaction participants, referral sources, public records, and professional or business sources in connection with an inquiry or assignment.
We use information to respond to inquiries; maintain buyer and contact records; match prospects with practice or property opportunities; prepare valuations and marketing materials; coordinate showings, negotiations, financing, due diligence, and closings; administer agreements; and send relevant listings, market updates, and event information, subject to your choices and applicable consent requirements.
We also use information to operate and improve our website and services, maintain records, protect against fraud or misuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal and regulatory obligations. Providing contact information or submitting a general inquiry does not, by itself, enroll you in promotional text messaging.
Service providers. We may disclose information to providers that support website hosting, online forms, scheduling, email and text delivery, customer relationship management, document storage, electronic signatures, analytics, and professional services, as needed to perform those functions for us.
Transaction participants and advisors. As appropriate to the services you request and any applicable authorization or confidentiality restrictions, we may disclose relevant information to prospective buyers or sellers, landlords or tenants, cooperating brokers, lenders, attorneys, accountants, escrow companies, and other transaction advisors. We do not treat a general website inquiry as authorization to circulate confidential practice records.
Legal and business purposes. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or regulatory requests; protect rights, property, or safety; enforce agreements; or investigate fraud. Information may also be disclosed in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of our business, subject to applicable confidentiality obligations and law.
At your direction. We may disclose information when you request or authorize it. We do not sell or rent our customer contact lists or confidential practice documents to third parties for their independent marketing.
We use practice information for the valuation, marketing, or transaction purposes for which it is provided, subject to applicable agreements and law. Public marketing may use selected financial or operating metrics without disclosing the practice identity when confidentiality is required.
Please do not submit patient names, patient records, Social Security numbers, account passwords, or other sensitive personal information through public website forms or ordinary email. Where patient information is necessary for an authorized transaction, contact us first to arrange an appropriate transfer process and any required agreements. This website policy does not replace a healthcare provider’s HIPAA notice or any applicable business associate agreement.
We and our service providers may use cookies, server logs, pixels, and similar technologies to operate and secure the website, remember preferences, understand website use, and evaluate communications. Third- party forms, scheduling tools, maps, videos, social media features, or other services linked to or embedded in our website may collect information under their own privacy policies. These third parties may collect information about your activity over time and across different websites or services.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings and any cookie controls available on the website. Blocking cookies may affect some features. A browser’s Do Not Track setting may not control all data collection; we honor legally binding opt-out preference signals where applicable to our processing and required by law.
You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. We may still send messages needed to respond to your requests or administer an existing transaction or relationship. If text messaging is offered and you opt in, follow the consent and opt-out instructions provided at enrollment or contact us to stop messages. Message frequency and any message or data charges depend on the program and your carrier.
Mobile information, text messaging opt-in data, and consent will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose this information to service providers solely as needed to deliver and administer messages on our behalf, or as required by law.
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have provided, or to change your communication preferences. Depending on where you live and whether the relevant law applies to us and the information involved, you may have additional rights, including a copy of your information, limits on certain processing, or an opt-out of a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. We will handle requests as required by applicable law and explain any applicable limits.
Send requests to jared@bergquistgroup.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” Include your name, contact information, and the nature of your request. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority. Do not send sensitive identification documents unless we request them through an appropriate channel. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
Nevada residents may use the same email address to submit a verified request directing us not to sell covered information as defined by Nevada law. Where NRS 603A.345 applies, we will respond within 60 days, with a possible extension of up to 30 days when reasonably necessary and with notice to you. Other applicable laws may require a shorter response period.
Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations, regulatory requirements, transaction documentation, dispute resolution, or other lawful purposes. If we decline a request, we will explain the basis and any appeal process required by applicable law. You may also contact the relevant privacy regulator or state attorney general.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, considering the nature of the information, our relationship with you, transaction and licensing record requirements, legal obligations, and dispute or enforcement needs. We may retain limited information to document and honor an opt-out request.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No website, email system, transmission method, or storage system can guarantee complete security. Contact us if you believe information you provided has been compromised. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable legal requirements.
This policy applies to our handling of information. Independent websites and services, including those linked from our website, have their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information directly to them.
Our website and brokerage services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us so we can review and address the matter.
We may update this policy as our services or practices change. We will post the revised policy on our website and update the effective date. For material changes, we will provide a prominent website notice or other notice as required by law, and obtain additional consent where required.
